Its the hope that gets you in the end. For Info hatched lines mean snow with a North east flow it would certainly be eventful for our region, but its over 48hrs away so it probably will not come to pass. Interesting system though.

Just seen a tweet saying part of the M4 is closed this weekend. Are they creating a gap in to try and get the snow south of it? :unknw:

Either they’re all in the regional threads or they’ve been scared off by the latest output.

Met Office not really on board with that idea.. 30mph forecast. I'm still confused about the wind warning on Sunday. I simply do not understand why the forecast winds here aren't as strong as they were Weds/Thurs and a warning issued for it..

According to their map, it should be gusting to 35mph now. It's gusting to 3mph. Light winds. Where are they getting this information from?

that ship barely exists yet!.............I'd expect plenty of ebbs and flows in the track of the modelled LP system for sunday/monday, and indeed on the day itself I guarentee the extract track of the LP and snow/rain boundary will not be as modelled....just a 50 mile difference north/south will make a hell of a difference as to what falls out of the sky.....keep the faith mate......certainly as it currently stands, those of us in the north and north east of the region (North Wilts/Oxon etc) are in the game for both sunday/monday....lots to resolve though :D

Well not the cold spell I was hoping for, not exactly bitter outside and seen nothing in the way of showers today.

Don't know what the fuss is all about!

I was thinking the same thing. It has been chilly, but not cold. I keep repeating it, but these set-ups are a waste of time down this way.

Yup, totally agree.

God knows what going to happy Sunday/Monday, but it looks all a bit messy for my liking.

Cold rain and wind is my bet

all but 3 of ththe GFS members have that very small but potent storm at +72, so i do expect to see warnings of some sort in the next 24 hours tops. Especially if the ECMgoes that route aswell

A bit of wet snow for northern parts of the region early Sunday morning, before turning back to rain when we all wake up.

God this model reading is making me bloody depressed for our region. Always near but never close enough.  I am beginning to think you have more chance of winning the lottery than get snow down here.
