Thank you. So it looks like tomorrow’s chances are diminishing too. :sorry:

Nah I think plenty of showers tomorrow, even the really hi res models will struggle with this. I’d be pretty surprised if some in our region don’t get a covering and I would think most will see snow falling at some point.

oooohi have likes back... for now

Looking at the various apps and charts we have snow chances on 4 consecutive days. When did that last happen!?!?

Friday and Saturday  ; flurries/showers

Sunday and Monday ; frontal precipitation

Ha 2 miles away but 200 metres higher it be snowing. Amazing what an extra bit of height can do.

Probably in 1978 for me, Andy. :hi:

ps: Nice to see this thread busy again. I don't like it when it's ghostly.

Please let someone be older than my 46 years! I've been lurking for many a year on here and even the BBC Snow watch days. Whatever happened to Mr Crazy Snowfan!! ??

That band does look pretty organised if it could just hold together through those Welsh mounds.

56 this Sunday. I'll be celebrating with my wife in Corralejo, Fuerteventura:D

Why is even Scotland not lower than 0c yet?!

Doesn’t need to be 0c to snow!! It’s all good, temperature now will continue to drop across the region

A grouping of showers just off the north coast of Devon and Cornwall - could these turn to snow as they move it inland? Is it too early?

Wee bit early I reckon. But tops of the moors are having some wintery action

Poor Jo in the mod thread. That image has caused quite the stir lol!

Anyway imuendo aside, I think surprises are coming overnight! If we can get some proper trough action the welsh mountain things won’t stop it!

What what did I miss??

The stiff breeze and still fairly warm seas moderating, but warm seas also helping beef the showers up :spiteful:

What are those “nowcast” models showing - can’t reme their name?! Is it the NMM or euro4? Need to give my boss the heads up for the morning.. he comes from Tetbury to Wells

Here's the Hi-res NMM link:

I’m 37 next year. OH MY GOD. The realisation has just hit. I really am old.

I turned middle aged once I hit 30. Now i've just turned 36. That hurt :( Really hurt!

I refuse to think I’m this old.. but it hurts when I go out of an evening now (very rare) and I look round and realise that I’m one of the oldest in the bar. :nonono:
