Down to 3.2°C here as well. Hoping for a sub-zero min by tomorrow morning. I'm well behind compared to last year!

Seeing a decrease in the rate of temperature drop right now, some hope the high level cloud clears..

Tonight's potential is more of an organised front/trough moving more West-East so the Welsh mountains shouldn't affect it as much as they will tomorrow's showers.

Just looked at some various charts and it shows it dying out pretty quickly.

Current radar shows it hitting the mendips around 11pm, if the band keeps moving at it's current pace, so tempted to head up there later.

Definitely snow but I doubt there will be enough for a covering! After this band of on comes through not sure if there will be showers throughout the night. Fingers crossed.

Just checked the met office app it's now changed it' mind and is forecasting 4 hours of heavy snow....check them webcams! At 200 metres I.e here just cold rain....

EDIT changed back to light snow so really can't be sure. Thus my hunch is little if any on the ground

0.8C here and frosty grass/cars. Can just make out the edge of the cloud to the northwest. Whether snow, rain, sleet, whatever the roads will not be nice first thing. I wonder if evaporative cooling might happen and snow get to lower levels.

The temperature seems to have bottomed out at 1.1°C. The forecast is for temps to rise before dawn, so the elusive sub-zero temperature is on hold. I've just looked back at some data, and I have recorded sub-zero temps every November, going back to 2010. Judging by the forecasts, It's possible that this will be the first November in 7 years that I don't make it.
