Quite foul here at the moment with a burst of heavy rain.

A very changeable day with warm sunshine early on and early to mid afternoon plus mostly clear sky at present, all sandwiched by 2 decaying fronts mid to late morning and late afternoon which have given negligible drizzle/light rain.

Just got back from a few days in Yorkshire where it was notably cooler than here. Back in North Somerset, it's a bright but cloudy start. Expecting a largely sunny day today.

Very quiet on here but anyway.......for years we have been told that hedgehogs were in decline,which for many reasons was not good news.This year,for whatever reason,in this part of the world have seen them in large numbers,some sadly hit,but really noticeable numbers scuttling about at night,just wondered if it was just confined to this area or if others in this region have noticed the same.

Sunny and warm again today. Decent weather over the last few days and its felt a bit more summery compared to what it has lately. 19.2°C

I was expecting a sunny start under the HIGH ridge but it's completely overcast with thick Cirrus and possibly Altostratus. Maybe a weak warm front?

Judging from what I've seen from my window I'd agree with you . Still, yesterday was rather pleasant here .

Not bad here so far today, mostly sunny and warm although the breeze is stronger now than earlier. 18.9°C.

After a fairly pleasant morning starting to go downhill and now a sheet of As and some St with the wind gusting from the south 35mph

Notice for yesterday, the forecasts have just changed for rain in the afternoon, its been showing as sunny all week in the forecasts.
Hope not as I am off to watch cricket in the evening.

Did have some welcome rain overnight 2.8mm, just grey now.
That is the first rain since 9th August, except for a few drizzles yesterday daytime.

I'm doing the same tomorrow evening so hopefully it'll be dry.

Just had the warmest day since 25th July at 22.4c max!

Over 3 weeks in high summer without exceeding 22c.

A couple of moderate showers in the past hour and some quite impressive Cu around. Temp 13C and a southerly breeze.

I thought yesterday was going to be the showery day, instead it was really quite sunny and warm.

This morning on the other hand we've just had one biblical downpour that in only ten minutes has partially flooded my street and  left 9mm in the raingauge!

Well it's supposed to be a thundery shower day here for me . Sunshine at the moment , after a very brief but intense shower at stupid o clock this morning . ( about 2am )
