Sorry I can't help but just wanted to post the map of "official" weather stations which I'm sure you're aware of http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/climate-network/#?tab=climateNetwork

If it's any consolation Southampton doesn't have one either. I was interested to see if there was because I just looked up the temp at Southampton Airport and the max today there was 29C, a long way short of the 32.3C i posted earlier. I would like to know whether the higher temp is a result of trapped heat in the city centre or just a lack of calibration between the two stations.

Will be interested to see what the temperature got up to at home today when I get back this evening, mostly been in the mid 20's so far but I wouldn't be surprised if it was higher today. Certainly felt hot in Winchester this afternoon.

Failed to reach 31.C and maxed at 30.8C, now I'm down to 29.C

Reached 29.8°C here at 14:37 so no 30c here either.

31.8c tops today and still 27.3c approaching 21.00!

I would expect it to nudge higher tomorrow given a likely higher minimum (this morning's was 17.5) and continued unbroken sunshine but quite frustrating to sense the 2nd week in a row with a very weak/inactive cold front - especially this time given 5 days of high heat!

At the moment very pleasant with a nice coolish breeze. Quite a few contrails around with some very thin Ci above. temp 19C.

Overnight low of 17.8°C at: 05:35, which sets the day off 0.6°C WARMER than yesterday, so here we go 30°C today, will it make it, who knows?

Checking on wundermap for weather stations in the Worle area and I've found a few with temp readings between 32-33c, one station has 35c but 32-33c I can so believe as it's very hot out there! 2 weather stations nearer to town and the sea front are reading 28c, possibly due to the sea breeze which would effect the town area and right on the coast but probably has no effect on temps a few miles inland from the coast. 

Max Temp for me yesterday was 32.2c, I'm not sure if we will get any higher today! BBC having London area highest again today with somewhere reaching 34c

Still hovering around 26°C here most likely because of the breeze. It's also turned quite hazy in the last couple of hours.
