Snaw! Big fat heavy flakes and lying.

Same for me James. That soft tinkle of heavy snow hitting bushes and assorted garden bits n bobs. Lovely :D:cold:

O.k then who is it  that wound up the dark side on the model thread yesterday  because they've gone and put a sexual intercourse  curse on the snaw tonight

Heaviest shower yet it’s a sleety hail and it’s sticking to the drenched ground that’s the base we need here but it will melt before the snaw arrives

Elevation certainly helping you there, still sleetly with some big flakes in the mix here.

Was only in the last shower that it turned from a sleety mix to snow. Hopefully turn for everyone soon.

Gone off now but more showers incoming.

It's all white oot there noo, but from hail showers rather than snow! Never mind, it's a start! :yahoo:

Just back from a very prescient but crap talk on ice ages in Inverness. The talk was, not the ice.  Better news is that the Black Isle is now almost entirely* white so some places west of here must be absolutely pasted. Looks to me that the showers are making it further east than was/is forecast. We're at 0C.

I feel a snow day tomorrow.

*chez HC is only just scraping a covering so far.

Not much happening near here on the radar, hopefully it picks up later as we go through the night.

Hope it gets a bit more lively tomorrow and following days, which MO warnings seem better than tonight's, stating more persistent heavy snow. These showers aint going to cut the ice here pardon the pun!

Still very wet here too. Heavy shower has given a covering, but it's dripping from trees and melting. Baby steps to tomorrow's less marginal conditions.
