Probs. I think I'm going to learn Italian, win the lottery and move to the Alps.

Back to reality and the 950s are just a degree too warm:

Ice skates to work it is after all.

Just south of the border in Durham at the moment and we have a fresh  covering of snow!

Haha. I've seen more snow in Durham this year than I have in Glasgow during the last 2. North westerlys have been disappointing for the last decade unfortunately, hoping this year is different!

Oh deep joy! Well, we can hope that it doesn't pan out that way. :help:

18z GFS is very marginal for snow through the Eastern Central Belt on Wed/Thurs. Looks like sleety pish away from high ground to me - if the ppn even makes it this far. Western areas could do OK though on Thursday.

Never checked the overnight low but it was -5.6 when I left for work. Hard to believe it's going to be raining later.

It's still baltic! That's going to change fairly soon though (surprised we probably won't get any snow out of this considering how cold it's been)

-4.5 heading to work this morning. Looks like rain for the run home. At least the washers will defrost although I am perfecting the art of spraying water from a squeezy bottle out the window without having to stop.

The BBC weather mentioned last night that they were keeping an eye on Wednesday night rush hour for snow disruption. It'll probably end up over Cornwall though!

Not sure if it has even rose above 0c yet, was -4.2 when I left earlier. If the rain comes as expected I think I will be getting my Torvil and Dean act polished for the morning.

had a wee shower in Glasgow there ,, started of same as rain then changed to hail or just frozen rain ... its soooooooooooooo cold :) but  yet :) still better than 14 degrees and horizontal rain :)

Same here in paisley, rain, hail, rain then stop. Bitter cold, actually feels damp cold which is worse lol

Other half tells me it is raining in Stirling too at the moment. Cloudy but dry here in Perth and -1. Such a shame the central belt gets the precipitation at last...during a 'warm' up.
