Cold and frosty here in Falkirk this morning. The cats ran out, stopped dead, then bolted back inside. Must be too chilly for their paws :cold:

Looks like we had a little snow here at one point (either that or a very harsh frost)

Lovely frosty morn here with the sun splitting the heavens.

We actually have about 0.1 mm of lying snow; between the grass blades I mean.

Charts continue with a chilly outlook (slightly milder incursion on sunday aside), although very Northerly driven, which isn't great for us down here in the south of the country.

This is the sprinkling of snow that fell here yesterday and it's still there this morning.

3 gritters fully loaded just gone up the brae here.   Expecting more of the same tonight?

This caught my attention too.   Chilly couple of weeks ahead say from about Tuesday/Wednesday for this area if it's accurate.

Looks even colder the further up you go too with the snow risk increasing in the second week.   You may have to look out the sledges Edo!:cold-emoji:

If I put Lochgelly into the NW extra forecast, it gets milder into the second week. Figure that :cc_confused:

Nasty cold rain here now, not had a glimpse of anything bright (apart from Ms HC) all day.

Maybe Netweather EXTRA is more accurate?   If you pays your money and all that?   FYI.... I don't.:p

To be honest, I dunno if it's more accurate - higher resolution poss I spose but the trens should be the same, and here they aren't.

I pay for the 'lite' version mainly for the nice radar...

Model discussion seems pretty up at the moment until another 'lift off' at 3.30pm I suppose!   Trying very hard not to get drawn in this year.

I don't put all that much trust into the 7/14 dayers really.

Lots of thick rain today accompanied by a Baltic wind. Returned from Car Boot Sale with more pennies for my Gin/Whisky fund. Happy days! :drunk: And Scotland appear to be stuffing Australia at the rugby. So no a bad day today at all.

Oh, spoke too soon, a penalty to Oz.......

Onto the third day of some snow cover although its a degree higher at 3c this afternoon leading to a  bit of melting.but the heavy sleet this afternoon feels just as cold. A really miserable November day.

Bit of a conveyor belt of showers from the NW this morn, headed out for a bit, chucking it down from daviot to home on the way back, with some lightning snow passing moy, crackin stuff. A9 is currently fun

Had to laugh at a BBC website headline I saw earlier. 'Temperatures plummeting'. Yes, it's pretty cold, but it's also nearly December. It's not that out of the ordinary to warrant that sensationalism.
