A break in the weather after a wet drizzly morning gave a view of the aircraft carrier.20170707_122251.thumb.jpg.a3cecc4afae25d40616dac373561af55.jpg

Crackin day. Mainly sunshine from around lunchtime onwards.

Did the works; washed the car, took the dugs up the Eildons, then had a BBQ, then went for a wee cycle up the hills behind as the sun was starting to get low; really lit up the barley.

A bit of a breeze, but that was nice as it kept you cool on hill climbs.

Mixture of phone and decent camera snaps:

Lovely day yesterday, not particularly warm as temps were around average (max of 19.5c at Leuchars) but 12 hours of sun! :)

Back to reality today, currently cloudy but dry, perhaps some rain later.

She could do something useful while they wait for some aircraft that fit - like park her across the Coran Narrows - she can shift out of the way a couple of times a day to let other shipping through! :D

19% today apparently! Can't say I've really noticed yet as I'm still close to death with the heat LOL

Monday - also Pish.

Not quite as pish as Sunday, at least here. Sunday was pretty much unrelentingly wet, although never overly heavy. Today is at least dry even if it is cool and cloudy.

Another poor day in Dundee/NE Fife.  You really don't want to be looking at 13c or 14c as a max in July!

Now I know what the 'emergency broadcast' feature is on my mobile! The storm didn't reach my location but the sky over the valley looked fantastic. Sadly I was too busy looking to remember to snap a few shots!

Temp up over 20C in Aboyne and just a tad lower in Dyce. As expected with that it's sunny with a few fluffy clouds but a bit of a breeze getting up.

Aye, there are good reasons why neeps & tatties are so popular up there in Scotty...As I discovered for myself when trying to grow, among other things, runner beans in Glenurquhart: the High Summer frosts got the buggers every time!:D
