Looks like i have a storm shield over me this year :wallbash:

They seem to fizzle out just before it gets close, and then fire up again just to the northeast/southeast of me!

Just cloudy here, temperature has drop a couple of ℃ too :sorry:

We had a spell of fairly heavy rain here, the sun is coming back out again now. A high of 24C when the sun was shining before mid-afternoon.

We have *drum roll please* ..... rain, and not even heavy rain.

The heavy stuff went past us, heard a rumble in the distance, but that definitely was not worth the wait. I wish they wouldn't give out warnings, guarantees we don't get any action with a warning :(

I used to live near some down south lass, back in the day when we got real thunderstorms it was quite fun watching them get struck and watch the sparks.

I live in the country stuffs.

Not a bad performance here - managed 8mm of rain in a one hour spell that included several lightning strikes. So mustn't grumble. Made even better by being sat in my local supping Adnams Southwold bitter watching the High Street turn into a river!

I was going to post that it's all over as the action moves into the North Sea, but then blow me, another couple of lightning strikes showing up this evening near Harlow!

Went out about an hour ago as lightning off coast seemed to be intensifying. Typically, got to good spot to view lightning and set up for photos and it completely fizzled out as soon as camera was on tripod. However, just had a couple of rumbles again.

Got nothing here yesterday, all too far north of me.., was a nice day though, intermittent sun, warm n hazy on the coast.

Got some nice pics of my view across the Channel, East to West.

Taken on my phone so not great quality but really nice clouds formations over a very calm sea.

Gorgeous day here so far, all the cloud and humidity has cleared to strong sunshine and deep blue skies. Warm still and and a light to moderate breeze, currently 19C.
