Nothing like a big delivery of Christmas things to make you feel a little bit festive, although it will be a good few weeks till the decorations go up. Then bubs and hubs go shopping and bring even more stuff home, it's all very exciting. Trying not to be though. It's *only * November.

But anyway it rained. But not too worry. Lots to do and i waited till it had stopped to empty the bin.

I have stuffs every where and i'm in my happy place.

Shame we've lost yesterday's wonderful weather. Today looking a fairly grey and grim affair for most of us for most of the day. However, from a weather point of view IMHO there's usually something of interest and this morning (08.20) I've enjoyed comparing the tangle of weather fronts over the UK on the fax charts with the cloud image from satellite (you can see those fronts and speckles of shower), and lastly the rainfall radar. Yes I know.... I'm sad...

You can actually see each front represented in the radar and satellite - fascinating stuff.8)

Cold and bright wonderful, for most it will not even reach double figures today. Expecting to see a ground frost here first proper cold night of the season for us all.

Yep every CM counts -

were about 150M here - west kingsdown 2 miles away is 232M so very very excited !

plus where we are is an old orchard so very rural-

Temps plummeting now as dusk arrives & cloud has cleared ! Already around 4-5c

According to the daily star this is shaping up to be one of the coldest winter ever. thats not good at all.

quote

This comes as it was revealed it is going to be chilly for Bonfire Night this evening with -6C expected in the UK.

And it was warned a La Nina weather blast will lead to one of the coldest winter ever.

Absolutely beautiful and clear you can’t beat the clearness and sharpness associated with polar air masses - typically I loathe November but so far very impressed.
