Well I can only speak for my location down here on the South Coast.  Here it's been a day of strong winds, very strong gusts and frequent squally showers since about midnight on Friday. Coupled with the Spring tide early afternoon it's been a lively day weather wise.

Same here, and still blowing.

Bright sunshine and variable cloud cover throughout the morning. Winds yesterday and today not any more windier than normal.  If it was bad the QE11 bridge would have been closed and it is still open.  I do not think a yellow weather warning should have been given for Thurrock as the winds were not that strong.

Storm Brian should not have been named by the MetO there were no Amber wind warning anywhere in the UK I know this was not the case for Republic of Ireland - but it's not the MetO concern they bowed to Irish Met. However, I do believe the name was warranted it was a pretty limp affair where I am elsewhere it was not..

It seems to have peaked at 13C a bit below the average thats a first for this month - it sure feels cool out there fast forward a month and hopefully this will feel mild.

I've been seeing on the nets regarding it getting colder.  Sorted in readiness, just add socks.

Not really interested if the snow is up norf be on one  distant hill, cos it will never snow here in November.

Just a normal Autumn day. being Normal, a spot of rain, cloud and some wind.

Bubs is watching 'sing' for the 10th time.:help:

Wish there was Halloween smilies. .

I'm tellin' ya - It's that there Orange October Sky Index is where it's at!

Having a deep clean of the flat today - nice day for it as it's mild out, all the windows are open, going to be a shock to the system if this cold materialises.

A lovely autumn day with plenty of bright sunshine and a partly cloudy sky.  The temperature today is 18 C   and the wind strength is 2.5 mph WNW .

So thankful for another lovely day, so much work done on the flat, still got all the windows open even though it's getting dark.

And Daphne has been sunbathing this afternoon.....

Are fellow gardeners harvesting all vulnerable things this weekend? Still got some chillis in a cold frame but I think I'll get them in before the cold temp arrive next week.
