Checked on the radar,  loads more still incoming. As much as I enjoy a storm,  I need sleep lol

Damn weather gods looks like the main electrical stuff is going east of London I’ll be crawling up the walls in a minute. Just  heard shotgun thunder not far away..

More lightning so far tonight than in the last 10 years and the main bulk hasn't even hit yet... Sleep is the last thing on my mind right now... I feel like a kid at a sweetshop window, gurning with anticipation of what is to come.

If it's South of you, it is about to hit you! Just wait... It looks like you are in a prime position.

I got woken up by all the thunder. Thought I would stay in bed and then the hail hit. I'm sure I heard the dog say 'WTF!' and ended up coming down stairs as it sounded like it was coming down the chimney.

Bluebell Hill just to my left (not far off the same height too) with a due south view.... I dunno where to look, it's going off all over the shop!

The main focus of the lightning seems to be SE London and NW Kent right now, the rest seems to be diminishing slightly.

This must be how storms used to be in the old days! Haven't seen anything quite as good since for a long time, lightning-wise.

Looks like the main rain band is here, had a few flashes and rumbles of thunder a while before but now it's just rain, what could be stopping the lightning so abruptly?
