So, well and stuffs.

Been cloudy all morning, rainy looking and cool. Felt like a right muppet in a summer dress when I should of been in jeans and jumper but anyway, the sun is trying to come out. Awaiting man with van to fix the heating/boiler this morning.

Storms? IF i see any i'll let you know.

Just looked at the MO radar forecast and its amazingly dry with hardly any storms, big lump for SW but not moving north that much and a kent clipper.

Its very very wierd listening to many comments on here in many threads.

Thought it was meant to be hot and sunny? Loads of cloud about and not especially warm.

Today's chances are determined by the theta-w plume. Outside the darkest area on the maps, it looks like rain, but inside these regions, the potential for thunderstorms is there - often thunderstorms happen on the leading edge. So for far SE area, we are looking at late evening early morning. Of course, in the real world, Mother Nature often has other idea re timing, and locations ...

Been a lovely sunny morning here, few light clouds about, but still quite hot at 24.6c in the shade.

I'm not expecting any thunderstorms in my area tonight, purely going off past experience of normally missing out on them, they often come close enough to let me know i'm missing out, but that is as far as they come lol

Locations are right up in the air, right now (and so is timing) given the long time it has taken for the detritus to clear this morning. That excessive precipitation blob was/is forecast to travel up the channel by other weather models, sadly. I think we'll know locations better (but not perfectly) once the shortwave has entered the channel, and, of course, it is likely to enter the channel as rain turning to the thunderstorms as it embarks.

Is that for today *and* tomorrow? The forecast is for late evening early morning, not ten minutes time!!

Oh dear .... it could well be that the t/storms will happen north and east of you, which will be very frustrating as it's still likely you'll see the cells as rain as they pass overhead.

I'm still 50/50 ... NW's will it thunder is very unreliable, had a few claps of thunder the other week when it was at 0% lol

Met O for me Wednesday and I quote

''Brighter conditions will follow, with isolated severe thunderstorms developing through the afternoon.''

Clouds please, a rumble of thunder but please wait till 3:30 for rain, cheers.

No hint of the instability to come here yet. Lots of blue sky, a little cirrus/alto-cirrus but no alto-cumulus yet...

The wind has picked up. Won't be wearing my wrap dress to pick up bubs. Looks like fair weather cloud.

The saving grace is the head ache i'm getting and it's not form the tiny black insects that are dying on my kitchen window. loads of them.

Heavy rain forecasted to start at 7pm for where I am. The problem is I'm set to play tennis outdoors at 7pm :(

Any chance the rain could miss Crawley?

Only if you take your lightning photographic equipment along with you!:yahoo:
