Very nice day indeed here. Mainly sunny skies with light winds and currently a pleasant 23C.

Well looking at the MO radar forecast for rain, until wed am.

It sure does look like our gardens will be well watered with heavy showers.

Will all places be watered though, not so sure but by the end of the week it will be.

Bring on some rain! Are we actually gonna get some here on the east coast or will it stay west of us? I want rain, lots of it please :)

Hubs said it wasn't so warm this morning, so for him to say that, that's saying something. Missed the shower we have just had.

Next door are having their windows done.

And it's gonna rain

oh yeah.

not good.

Well this really is a now cast rain forcast, areas of rain have changed every 2/3 hours, where when and how much rain is due.

Oh goody a met office warning of rain, guaranteed not to see any now ;)

looks like showers cropping up just about everywhere, on a north east heading, missing the east coast by a mile I suspect! You'll find me out with hose later watering the garden :)

Number of times I have thought oh look they forcast rain I wont water the plants.

Next day still no rain, plants start to droop, so nowadays I just water anyway.

I am holding off today, surely it must rain lol...

Yes, need a decent heavy rainfall here. One like the middle of May would be perfect, when it chucked it down for a good 12 hours then the sun came out again. All this cloud recently has been utterly pointless as it has just blocked the sun and the howling wind has dried out the ground more effectively than any heatwave.

Absolutely - our garden's crying out for it.  Our rainwater butts are getting pretty empty.

On NW radar it appears that the storms are going to pass just to my west.:wallbash:

It's possibly worse for me; they're going to miss me by around 2-3 miles, I think.:D:nonono::angry:

Moderate rain here, have heard some rumbles but must be towards Bury St Edmunds looking at the radar.

Well we've got a storm here - torrential rain, lightning and loud thunder. Somehow it doesn't feel the same as a hot summer's day storm though....grey and dank before all this, and no doubt after.

I saw a flas earlier, but the most we've had so far is drizzle.

Thunder near me but heard not even a little rumble, had a bit of rain.

As is the norm Beddy's rain/storm/any thing good shield is up.

Ooh, torrential downpour with thunder and lightning here, roads partly flooded. Glad of the rain, quite sticky now.

rain has died down a lot here now.

Had a couple of rumbles of thunder.

Hoping that was the starter and not the main course.
