Well what a fab few days ... and will welcome the rain ( if we get it tomorrow ) p.s everywhere has sold out of fans :fool:

Lol, a mate spent hours trying to get a fan yesterday, went everywhere he could think of, all sold out. Even Amazon all sold out, earliest was next Thursday! Same happens each time there's hot weather, I'd love to know what people do with the fan they bought last year?!

Well what a fabulous spell of weather and tomorrow it may continue, 26c is not to be sniffed at . Even Sunday admittedly only looking at the bbc app shows sunny and 23c . A fabulous end to spring and now start to summer . I suppose we have to go through some grotty weather and this will help keep my lawn a little on the green side without the need for the sprinkler . Hopefully we can get some hot sunny weather for the kids holidays if that means the beginning of July being under par , I would Babk that .

I gave away my portable air conditoner in the winter. I thought I would'nt need it as it had only been used a few times in all the years I had it. Regretting it now :wallbash:

I wasn't reading the charts at all, just stating my favoured weather choice in the summer. It's not pleasant working in 30 degree heat unless of course your in a air conditioned office.

I am with you shotski - this weather makes me ill. The only difference is i'm moaning to the weather gods rather than be rude to the likes of us who like this heat.

I gave mine to my parents who are elderly. Glad I did, they said it has been a godsend . It was only a tiny argus one.

Meanwhile I'm quietly sweltering in my house... hmm...

I have three large fans at home and there is a ceiling fan in the conservatory :)

This feels much better, much easier to work in. Hopefully the oppressive heat won't be back for a while. :D

Sunny start here as well and 21C as well. It could get very warm during the morning and there is the chance of some thunderstorms breaking out as a shallow trough moves east across the region, though I suspect the impacts will be bigger over the continent, pretty much it comes through too early.

Feels more oppressive to me this morning, humid and can't seem to get enough oxygen in my lungs, horrible feeling. I see pockets of showers popping up to the west, but long way off. I want the rain and a decent storm would be a bonus, but could it kindly hold off until after I take my grandson to the park this morning! Then let it rain, let it rain, let it rain :)

Radar showing a few active storms have developed rapidly this morning. The individual cells are moving quickly in a NE direction whilst the band slowly edges east. You can see the large cumulus on the satellite.
