30C in the shade at 2pm and a very pleasant 23C at around 8pm. :D Sorry but I absolutely love it, I don't think a few random weeks of lovely warmth and sun out of 12 months is much to ask for lol

A relatively cool 26.3 high here, but still felt far to warm. Mostly due to the high humidity. Now down to 17.8

A little bit of cloud to the north of here, hopefully that won't spread south and hinder the temperatures that much. 18C to start the day.

Beautiful cloudless and windless morning here, already 23C at 7am. Looks like a stinking hot day ahead. Last of my days off work so will work on my tan!

Currently 21c, Not looking as hot today here, but still up to 28c forecast and i can imagine it won't feel too far off of yesterday

27c in my garden by 9:43am

26c in the factory I work in, good job i started at 6am today and will skip my lunch break so I can finish at 1:30am :)

 

Will we see any storms today in the south east?

There's always a chance, I suppose. However, the forecast is that convection looks highly unlikely (KI = 5) despite large quantities of CAPE - which look to be going to waste, today, in our region.

Best day so far in terms of blue skies during this hot spell for my location.

I see cloud building in the midlands on the satellite imagery - hopefully it won't make here.

It says something for me to be hot and i'm HOT.  It's is burning out there. But it's not just us humans, our poor hamster is also feeling it, so given him a water bath and cooling apple pieces. 

Deciding to spring my sun hat onto the village today.

Was 22c at 8am this morning. 

Currently 28c here now. I sat outside for 10mins and had to come back in. My hay fever is really bad this year!

Puff of cloud covering the sun, but now it feels nice. Can cope with the heat if the sun isn't out, lol

Up to 31C here, less cloud today as well though there is some thin high cloud around. The wind has swung to the south east though remains so light is offers little restbite.

Loving every minute. 

The UK is such a beautiful country when the weather is like this. 

People smiling and our vegetation looking gawgus....A fair few good bodies to please the eye as well ;)

Agree with your comments. Enjoy it while it lasts, I say, it'll soon be mediocre and cloudy. Or maybe this'll be a roasting summer to remember!

Heathrow and Northolt have hit 32c at 16.00. 29/30c widely in the SE now, coastal areas a bit cooler. :)
