All I know is my garden is absolutely hammered.

Drooping, hanging, broken and things that look like they been sprayed with weedkiller, total wreck, not happy.

Wind got extreme last night here, all my flowers have been flattened and probably won't be back for the rest of the summer unless i attempt to prop them all up with sticks :nonono:

Still windy, gusting above 40-45mph but continuing to ease here with partly sunny skies 15.7c

A better day here than yesterday (not difficult) but still pretty poor with a very gusty wind and an underwhelming max of 20C so far.

Anything is probably better than yesterday weather wise, still windy but otherwise not too bad today.

Watched the British & Irish Lions play New Zealand Blues (rugby) at 08.30 this morning - sat in a marquee at the back of my local (I hasten to add it was full English breakfast and coffee only - no beer - too early at that time of the day even for me!!). The really gusty wind spoilt things - the marquee nearly taking off at times and the screen wobbling so much I felt seasick trying to watch the game! Rather chilly too, around 13C then.

Plenty of sunshine today though, and a high of 18.6C at 17.00. But this evening's satellite image shows the last of the bright skies disappearing from our Region as some overnight patchy rain moves in - and unfortunately not looking as if much sunshine will be on offer tomorrow. Hopefully that's wrong....

Although i hate wind at least I can sleep at night and I'm not moaning about being too hot.

A few spots of rain now.

Another crap day here, feeling very autumnal with wind, drizzle, gloomy skies and just 17C.

Just heard a distant crack of thunder. Think the heaviest of the rain is just about to pass overhead. All this rain has been lovely, cross fingers this dry spell over the past year can b*gger off!

What a coincidence Brexit and the Election have both seen thunderstorms in or around London :D (I'm not trying to instigate political conversation, just saying)

Lots of deep distant rumbles heard in Thanet, looks like Canterbury area being targeted.
