Breaking up here now was fully covered over earlier.

Looking forward to some more action tomorrow night if we can pull it off, will be good!

Not here, overcast clag and feeling quite cool now in the howling wind. Looking at the satellite there's a lot of cloud about. Forecast of 28C is way out unless things change drastically. Fingers crossed for tomorrow though, eh!

I'm guessing our next lot of storm potential in this corner of the country is now shifting to tomorrow night? Anything forming here now will be on its way north as it develops so we need to look to France for some imports etc over the next 48 hours.

The thundery nothing that went thru and left cloudless skies has been replaced with on/off cloud and a strong breeze. Don't mind a breeze in warm weather but fed up with this gusty relentless stuff.

Still today, tomorrow and Monday of up to mid twenties here, then even throughout next week it stays pretty mild with 20c just about daily, can't complain about that!

My word, that awful wind!! Would be quite pleasant otherwise. Loads of cloud here but more sun coming through now at least. Thoroughly disappointed so far lol.

It's overcast here now and dark and windy and just bah.

So frustrating, normal Bedford fare. Couldn't help but notice the front get worst as it past.

Can tell it's been thundery as it's looks like that crud you get.

So to re-cap

Lovely looking clouds, no breeze -> five drops of rain, nasty wind and now over cast cruddy yuck.

For lemons sake:wallbash:

The cloud seems to be getting sp far eastwards and then breaking up, I is sunny across the eastern half of our region including down here, the temperature is still pretty good at 24c.

Back home in Chatteris, 25c reached for the fourth day in a row.

Looked hopeful in Norwich but that was it, caught about 10 mins of light rain in the end as it moved north rather than NE. Very nice structure to it though. Have to say the local forecast was spot on this time.

Some high cloud around but otherwise a fine and sunny start down here in Thundersley. Looks like a nowcasting event and though the main event is later this evening, there is the risk of one or two showers moving in from mid-afternoon.

Temperatures look good, 23-25C widely, possibly hitting 27C somewhere today.

Beautiful sunny start to the day here and starting to warm up after a cool start, currently 17C. Looking interesting for tonight, if you like thunderstorms. Fingers crossed for a good light and sound show here after yesterday's dismal offerings.

since http://www.convectiveweather.co.uk/forecast.php?date=2017-05-28 is giving me lovely eye candy I am have decided in my happy mood to sort out my wardrobe. I am doing this before the down grade to light rain which will happen later.

Much fresher today, hubs has been mowing the lawn. But at least we have for now lost that awful wind.

high cloud but bright.

Nice and bright this morning and felt warm on the run. High cloud above but that wind has vanished so feels ok.

As usual and is always 90% the case I don't expect any thunderstorms later, distant rumble if I'm lucky.

Even the Meto warning update suggests many in the warning area will see little or no impacts.

Tomorrow looks a decent day with temps up to 24c and fairly bright.

Enjoy rest of weekend everyone

Hi, first post, but been reading for a while.

Well as usual in the Lowestoft micro climate, no sign of storm yesterday, watched the radar as it crept closer, then lost hope as it fizzled out before it got to our little corner.

Hoping we at least get some decent rain tonight, really need it round here, any significant rainfall always seems to go around us or die before it reaches us.
