morning all.

Just come back from the school run and it is humid and muggy. Even the breeze feels heavy.

It feels like summer.

Whatever happens can we get rid of this horrible humid weather, just hate it.

Got to wait another day as front not making it so wed is as bad as today.

At least I wont have to water my plants for a couple of days after tomorrow, well so the forecast says.....

Got a bit of rain yesterday morning, really need this rain tomorrow. So dry here.

Hopefully we get the rain we want and then things turn more settled later in the months, not much sign of things settling down much on GFS but ECM is showing hints of better weather for the SE.

17.8c, mostly cloudy but the sun is trying to break out. Very sticky feeling.. Forecast over 35mm of rain in total tomorrow, would be very welcome nonetheless

19C here already! Lovely and warm and the sun is breaking through the grey grot with some blue sky visible. How nice would it be if that cloud clears, properly warm. Tomorrow looks very wet for some of us, models not agreeing on the same areas copping the worst.

Looking nice down in the SE today. Checked Worthing Seafront Web cam, looks like the Med basked in warm sunshine and blue skies. Same on the Dieppe web cam across the Channel. Meanwhile up north persistent rain for the past 24 hours, horrid murky and mild conditions. Good old Sussex by the Sea looks the best place today.

Sky clearing here, lovely and warm sunshine developing, shame that stupid wind is still howling. 21C currently.

A lovely 24C here now, some sunshine, some passing cloud but spoilt a bit by that wind which is getting stronger, if anything. It's making potting up my tomatoes on the allotment very annoying as compost is blowing everywhere. Would be nice to have a sunny and CALM day for once! I fervently hope that this year is not going the same way as recent years with the ever present, howling wind, no matter what direction it's coming from.....

However net weather model is different with a more easterly element to the band of rain possibly embedded storms

Not enough rain for Eastern Counties on those charts. We need at least an inch of rain here in Suffolk after it's been so dry.

Yes going to come down to the radar again this one. The sat shows things beginning to set up :

Here is the conveyor belt of moisture being pumped up from the south.

On the southern part of the front you can begin to see higher clouds on sat as more moisture is pumped north

I am having a mare. Mopped the floor and forgot to get the door mat out of the garden and it's started to rain.

IT'S RAINING.

Some sunny intervals, but really warm with a pleasant breeze, we did get some rain later on. A high of 24C.

Finally out of hibernation :D Did someone mention rain? Jolly good!

Not uber warm here today thanks to a strong breeze and pesky cloud followed by light drizzle. Will be somewhat miffed if the models do an about turn overnight!
