Night time lows should be getting down below 0c for two or three nights after the weekend in the CET zone and stay in the mid single digits for a while after that, so should see quite a signifiant drop by the end of next week.

Well Fridays very mild so that should cancel out Thursday can't see Saturdays temps as GFS on netweather is missing those charts but I suspect similar temperatures  Sunday the cold air doesn't really dig quickly enough south so another rise then. Of course this is speculation as the general rule of thumb is that cold gets downgraded nearer the time. So going on past history I suspect the figure we get at the end of Tuesday will be the value at end of Saturday. So probably still 9C plus.

Sticking the neck out say 7.5C to 8.5C likely to be the end figure more likely 8C to 8.5C.

As for Sunny Sheffield say 7.5C to 8C. Which would push it below normal.  I could well be on the low side there though.

No change for April in Sunny Sheffield still at 9.4C with overnight temperatures offsetting just below average day time temperatures so keeping it overall on the mild side.

I hesitate to say it but current operationals do give us a real chance of a below average month. Euro would have the CET in the mid to high 8C's by day 10 and from there the 0z GFS was pretty awful for warmth.

Below 8C is probably asking too much but below 8.5C a real possibility.

No chance mate April CET is 8.1C and even here we have enougth days this week above that value for here outside the cet zone to prevent any huge drops over the week.

9.6c here to the half way point, 1.8c above the 1981-2010 average.

Temps look below average until around Thursday before they return to above average again.

Interesting to see how high the temps are around Yorkshire, I would have expected a little lower than that, it just goes to show how mild it has been from north to south so far this month.

We have had lots of sunshine so far this month, which has kept the mean maximum high at 15c, whereas the mean minimum is around average at 4c.

As Vizzy2004 says plenty of mild days looking at 06oz suggests we will still be around 9.4C by Saturday due to some very mild days cancelling the cooler days.  With today's rain failing to turn up we could also be looking at one of the top ten dry Aprils on record as well. At the moment it's driest at 1.3mm 1.8mm is the lowest ever we're likely to beat that  though. Only one day has any rain forecast and that's Monday and that isn't a lot.

First shift downwards this Easter weekend down to 9.3C. Shows how mild the cool weekend has been really. SB you may go by the later average but the met office doesn't. Even so you've got to loose 1.2C in 13 days as this weekend showed it isn't going to be easy.

Slight drop then, next two days a little lower then probably hold steady Thurs/Fri. All depends on these late April northerlies now, are they going to be watered down in the same way as the others that the models have been turning up regularly I wonder. Even if we get a direct arctic blast and the coldest possible outcomes, I have to ask myself, how cold can it really get in the CET zone in late April?

Maybe the 8.5c is still possible though if it should really turn that cold with lots of night frosts.

9.5c here to the 16th, 1.7c above the 1981-2010 average.

Quite a slow drop but the next couple of days should take us close to 9c.

Was expecting single figure max today but we have already hit 10.8c, so despite the cold air aloft the sunshine is allowing temps to respond somewhat.

Running at 2.6c here so far..will expect that to fall over the next 2 or 3 days..could dip below 2c before rising again at the weekend...currently about 2c below normal.

Looking possible then that December 2015 will be warmer than the preceding November, March and April for the 2nd year in a row.

Okay we are in a time warp here we are in 2017 so why are bothered about 2015????

April could turn out cooler than March.

Yes but then March was a very mild month. This one as well is looking like it will be above average the question is by how much.
