You seem to get little clusters of strikes in a small area, away from the main band, that get removed quickly. Hard to know if they're genuine.

This has happened a lot over recent years, where massive mcs travel east along the channel and head to Holland/Belgium. It's a shame we never seem to get a direct hit.

The entire mass of very heavy rain is quite something by itself, the actual storms are incredible.
