I would find somewhere on the A33 to park up, so you can be ready to go down the M27.

A31, surely?

Junction 2 M27 might be a good holding station, there's a Premier Inn off that junction and the car park has some views to the south.

Dont think its  splitting, but im no expert, but its deff growing in size

I love a storm but not sure I'd want to be under that tbh. It looks like it's generating it's own weather now,  and looks like it's moving E/ESe as if it's pulling away from channel?

Anyone know any good high spots or beach points to watch the storm, say around Eastbourne, over East Sussex way?

Seriously considering getting in the car and hitting the M25 over the next 30-60 mins. Will take me 90 mins to smash it down the M25 south-east and get there.

Continuous sferics heard on my trusty old am radio here now and frequent flashes of lightning visible.

Wow, that was an extra hundred within a minute! Imagine if we get something like this across the midlands later this summer!
