Already over 2000 strikes in that area that only developed within the last hour!

Very impressive and looking promising for the rest of N England :) might get out in the car and do some chasing later.

Storms developed literally 5 miles E of here before pushing off on their way NE. I give up, I really do. Same crap different year.

Parked up at Scotch Corner services and the radar looks great! There's a lay-by about a mile away with a uninterrupted view to the south which I'll head to after I've had my fill of food :D

Huge hailstones!

We just had the rain, no hail unfortunately. Now gloriously sunny and feeling very warm and sticky.

Feeling disappointed there, seemed to miss both of the intense patches to my East and West and was left in a gap with just a little bit of heavy rain and a a tiny bit of sheet lightening, can hear it rumbling away to the north though

Got a feeling i might be too far west but have heard grequent thunder and there is dark clouds in the vicinity, shame the window of opportunity is small today as soon as the wind turns westerly i suspect that will be it

Just enough rain to wet the streets here, now the sun is out again. It was a lot more intense a little to the west of me. It's still very warm and humid so has the potential to go again later.

Dead duck here but to be honest that's what the forecast said it would be. Main feature the wind  quite gusty for late may
