Thanks.  Also, I saw a met forcast this morning saying about the new moon.  I guess they were commenting on the lightning display this evening.  The darkness...

Hi guys, just got up for a drink and pleasantly surprised to see loads of lightning to my west with faint rumble just heard as well. Will take my water and sit in the garden for a while, glad I haven't got work today!

AJ was right it has died off to some extent. That is clear from radar and naked eye. So I am glad I got to see it approach with the non stop lightning. Still some awesome lightning but less frequent.

Seems to be holding more out west Andy. Most of the Lightning is in that direction now compared to SE of here as it was an hour ago.

Great show nonetheless.

Saw some lightning to my south but typically it refuses to come up past Bristol. As things this way seem to be dwindling...Bed time! Enjoy all.

Storm has passed now. Occasional spectacular lightning as it moves north. Very frequent lightning over towards Cardiff.
