i see what you mean,would you follow them NE into NE england?

i have a daughter at tai-quando tomorrow at 4pm and home for 5:15,so i am stuck until then,maybe some storms early afternoon then late afternoon and might chase after she gets back home,just need to see how things plan out.

I should be in bed...but I can't the anticipation is sky high.

It will be interesting to see what happens when it starts getting warmer after sunrise.

A lot of lightening going off like popcorn coming up through Weymouth way and and I've seen more clouds coming towards Warminster

Holy s**t +CG within 200 yards at least! Loudest explosion I have ever heard!! Something was definitely hit

It's literally a wall of cloud and lightning coming towards me, really surreal experience!

Oddly can see less now than hour ago, the cloud is masking it and its getting light

That was easily the best show I have seen in the last 12 years. Incredible! 

+CG's are pretty rare, but when hits at close range, you know the difference between a negative and positive stroke, that's for sure.

Just thinking aloud but if the netwx model is right, then the activity is slowing down and will reinvigorate over north Wales/ Cheshire.  Meto warnings are north of that way, I wouldn't be driving south from midlands, I'd be going West NorthWest if anything 4 5 6 in the morning?

Nothing seen here yet (not true, see edit)

Some strong flashes seen S and SW
