Just rain now thundery stuff moved through quickly but can hear the odd rumble in the distance

That's probably our lot now for the year  Fingers crossed for some decent plumeage soon.

Lovely storm here now. Have been watching it come in from the northeast of all directions!

Twas some very intense rainfall associated with that cell that just moved through.  Weak thundery element quickly diminished but the rainfall has left the first puddles of the Spring behind.

Something heavy heading my way, as can be seen on my cam. No electrical activity in it though.

Check out those rainfall rates at the core, approaching 100mm per hour!

Brief heavy shower here. Apart from that skies are overcast, no sun and it feels chilly. Zzzz

Now got this to the east of here. Doesn't look much on the radar though.

Also it looks like the shower that was over here earlier is now producing lightning further west.

Another thunderstorm to my NE, don't think it will be overhead this time but I can hear the rumbles of thunder. Looks to be heading towards E side of Bristol this time.

Can see that cell from here in Yatton, the previous one moving away to the south. Didn't think today was going to be this interesting!

Lightning activity seems to have diminished down here although still some very heavy rain on the way. Storm rumbling nicely over between Weymouth and Poole. I wonder if water had a part to play as the storms that followed the River Severn were particularly active until the storms went further inland, and the activity over Weymouth Bay are still going?

EDIT - A couple of strikes appearing again near to Crewkerne now - maybe because its nearing Lyme Bay perhaps?

Looks like another cell is approaching me from the north again.

Gone very dark suddenly.
