Not as good as yesterday and if that certain outlier has picked up the correct trend, winter could be over very soon!  Thankfully, most of the others keep the AO negative!

Well it presents itself on the Northern Hemisphere chart as almost reverse zonal.

I would say it will got to penalties but the odds are the ECM will win.  However, as we know like in football, the less good team can and does win on occasion and hopefully that will be the case here!

Fingers crossed the GEM has this!  Although it's not regarded as the best model, it's not cannon fodder either?

Anecdotally, I'll repeat what I've been told, fairly recently upgraded and performing well. Better than GFS

Pretty sure you can find a time frame to support any preferred model to suit your needs with regards to verification stats this winter. Ecm certainly seems to periodically pivot towards gem and on occasion gfs too. Specifically parallel from my own observations since December.
