Matt Hugo tweeting flatter pattern depicted by the 00z runs might not become entrenched...

Ext eps may offer a better idea of the direction of travel?

Ι suspect the weather station is placed in a doline? The 850s are not something special.

I now several weather stations that are situated in dolines in the Appenines or in Pelloponese in Greece that have recorded similar temperatures.

Matt is 300m plus ASL.

I really do need to get a wriggle on and up my game to 330 ish...there's loads of opportunity just this covid complicates things!!

The extra 100m makes a big difference and with Oldham being so hilly I should aim higher!

Interesting output ahead.Just to quote Marco P..the AO aka NAM looking to see reinforced-ve index, seems drip fed from aloft. A southerly displaced Jet stream may feed Low Pressure systems to the UK on a more Stly track..

And just to add from me,perhaps we would see those systems bringing snow on the Northern edge of those systems. So alot going on.
