    Now we are homing in on a almost negative AO for every day of this month (bar first two days). Years to experience similar. Not too keen on any of those years, couldn't remember what happened in 2009, 2010 or 2012...

    I’d say swathes of the NH are already getting slammed.  Record snow in Japan, record snow NE US.  Intense cold Siberia and record cold innNorthern India.

    I mentioned in the model thread the runs have been showing around 1060-1065 hpa frequently but there have been those 1070hpa runs too. Either way another thing you would imagine will be a big positive for the strat warming 🙂
