Model related is it not?

Also in thread is for July and that doesn’t make for pleasant viewing either. A warm summer hangs in the balance?

Thats some turnaround!!

Suggests an anticyclone to the NE being a dominant player with lower pressure across Spain/France etc?

Well if it can be embarrassingly wrong once it can be embarrassingly wrong twice.

Erghhhh.....what I and a couple of others mentioned earlier. Eastern Europe bake and NW Europe in the doldrums with a trough nearby. Pattern sets in and gets stuck for weeks/months. Potential to be wrong of course - the May update now looks well off key.

We are due a cool summer down south, we have had three swelterers in a row, so a cool summer in London is most welcome this year. PS I don't think swelterers is an actual word that exist.

Well that backs up what is currently being seen in the 10days range a couple of the models - hopefully the northeast blocking won't hang around into July if it does start to show its face - If it does Im desperate to for air bridge to be setup with Greece & Cyprus,

That 2012 pattern doesn’t really look the same thank god. We could do alright from this set up if the low stays out west enough.

This year and 2012 are chalk and cheese.  Things are a bit dicey at the moment but should resolve in a week or two, I think.  But that doesn't make a good inflammatory tweet, if you are that way inclined.

I'd prefer a front loaded Winter. Best time for cold and snow!

As others have already said, 2020 will no doubt bring further frustration and struggles. Almost a case of careful what you wish for? Feel free to remind me of this when we have record winter heat and still chasing dreams at plus 10 days away!
