WEATHER WATCH

THIS IS AN ADVANCED WATCH FOR SEVERE WEATHER

Category: Level 3 Warning

Weather type: Heavy rain and gales and storms

Affecting: All areas

Date Valid For: Tuesday 17/8 at 1200 until Friday 20/8 at 2200

Discussion: A deepening area of low pressure is approaching the British Isles. This feature will bring signficant persistant rainfall to many areas during Tuesday and Wednesday. This will be preceded and followed by heavy and thundery showers which again could affect any where in the UK. Winds will also be a feature, with gale force gusts probable in exposed areas, squally winds during showers is also a possibility.

We will update this watch as nessecary so please stay tuned.
