Heavy snow in Shoebury for a little while now. Settling on my office skylight, cars, roofs and grass verges.

The temperature suddenly dropped from 4C to 0C about 30 minutes ago and the dew point is now also 0C, with 100% humidity.

I think a lot of people have been caught unaware it would be as snowy as it is now and there will be some very long rush hour commutes home...

    It's settling now

I think snow chances this evening for most of us that live at low-levels will depend very much on how quickly the colder and drier arctic air undercuts the rain from the NW - which will relate to how

I've only just realised what a bunch of nutters we all are lol. All this drama for a 'bit' of snow .... I've spent hours if not days n days watching all this unfold .....Now all I'm left with is about

Somone tell me i'm not wrong, just took a look at the lamppost for the first time in ages and the light is white, didn't they used to be yellowy/orange?

They were the old sodium lamps - modern ones are LED or (I think) halogen.
