Snowing quite heavy in Epsom, slight covering looks like it will last an hour so maybe a couple of mm

Your comment just made me get up off the sofa Fulham (a mean feat this time of night, ha!) and sure enough, the lampost outside my house is showing a nice shower coming down!! A dusting on the cars too!! Wonder if we'll get much more overnight?!x

It's settling now

I think snow chances this evening for most of us that live at low-levels will depend very much on how quickly the colder and drier arctic air undercuts the rain from the NW - which will relate to how

I've only just realised what a bunch of nutters we all are lol. All this drama for a 'bit' of snow .... I've spent hours if not days n days watching all this unfold .....Now all I'm left with is about

Newsflash. The ant family living outside in the crack in my patio appear to be in trouble. A drifting snow grain has left them trapped in their abode.

Dry no snow here I am too far west

Yes its all further west where the PPN intensifies somehow, in the east of London and south PPN is not making it very far inland at all though, its just fizzling out.

Didnt say it would be a snow streamer Lol - God cant wait for the convective days of April, the warm sun and then storm chasing, this Drear-Esterly and crud from the North Sea is soul destroying.

In all seriousness you can see the trough sling shotting the precip around and can almost picture how that is going to evolve overnight, I am pretty sure some places will get a dusting before the warmer dp's come through tomorrow, watch that area up near Southwold as well, it only takes that to get its act together and interact with the feature coming from Benelux and you could have something more substantial.

Dont give up yet S Easterners!

Hear hear!!

Unless it's a Feb 91 or Jan 87 repeat, and not marginal like this, I'll always be looking forward to the storms!
