God I hate this weather.
All those that wanted a reset and Atlantic weather as it must be better, I hope they are happy with this depressive, dull, damp rubbish. :wallbash:

Overcast and grey, but mild,Sunset today 4.50. Spring is around the corner. Still calm here in Seaford, looking at the bbc forecast windier weather on the way. Is the Atlantic going too step up a notch? Good Health to you all.

Temp dropping, 3.1 now?

Thought it was supposed to rise through the day today. Mind you that rain isn't here yet.

I heard these good ol' Norfolk sayings mentioned today, winter will arrive soon!

1. There's always cold and snow when the mart arrives (travelling fair at King's Lynn normally around valentines)

2. As the days get longer the cold gets stronger.

Here's hoping that Feb delivers for this region!

I've heard a few people comment about how the colds "going to roll in" like it does every year with the mart, last year the day i went wasn't too bad at all and was unseasonably warm i was out last evening in a jumper!

edit: Western areas of the UK look especially mild today..

Wind still from the SE, temp only up to 4.8 so far. Rain hasn't come apart from about an hours worth of drizzly mist earlier. Cloud is low though, looks slightly foggy out.

Hi all, its been a good day for staying indoors. I Do miss the garden at this time of the year. Still Calm here in Seaford East Sussex. Where are the Atlantic winds? It has been such a calm January. Sunset 4.52. But it has been fairly dark all day. Light drizzle and thick mist here.

Heard from a friend today about the possibility for a cold spell next week and didn't think much of it, turns out that theres a chance. Far out so probably won't happen but 2 days of 80% chance of snow in a row is the best I've had on my 10 day forecast in years..

Perhaps not on the surface winter could return with a vengeance.

Very somber weather lately throughly depressing with cloud laden skies with drizzle alternating in intensity. Very little diurnal range roll on the cold easterlies.

'At least it will be mild', why do weather presenters say this? It's winter, we have spring, summer and autumn for mild, they should say, 'at least it will be cold'.:angry::angry:

Because most people don't like heating costs, getting up early to scrape their car, or breaking an ankle on the way to post a letter. And in summer they do often describe returning to moderate temps after hot spells in terms of "relief".
