22C and wall-to-wall sunshine. :D

Too warm, too early, if you ask me. I hope we don't have another summer of intermittent far-too-hot, far-too-humid one-day-wonders, like we've had for the last two summers? I do hope it makes up its mind, this time!

25c is not a bit though, its massive for early March!:yahoo:

yeah I know what you're saying. With our breeze it's on the right side of lovely. Come the real heat (28c+ for me) we have no breeze what so ever. Then I hate it.

Although it's not really made it up it's mind now, going to feel freezing next week at 13c.

More overreaction in the MO thread in recent days.
Just seen the weather on BBC, forecasts of 16c mon and tues, all I have read is gloom and doom.

What does one expect at the beginning of April.

Well 25C reached both in central London where I was yesterday and back in the Fens, a perfect Spring day which to be honest felt more like early summer. Shame we won't see weather like this for the next few weeks probably.

Lovely sunny morning here despite feeling much cooler out of the sun. Cloud has now moved in, spoiling things somewhat but still some bright spells.

Sunny and 25C is about the best we can get at this time of year, I doubt we could go much better to be honest. Still the outlook doesn't look like a washout. Still days like these are not exactly great, sunny until mid morning and then overcast as cloud built up. A typical stable north westerly.

Central London hit 14c today, so thats a 11c drop. Just been out and about the last hour or so and although the wind feels cold its still very pleasant when the sun comes out. Don't think that it will be too bad in the SE the coming week either, chilly nights and mainly sunny days. Still no sign of any significant rainfall, but possibly turning colder and more unsettled by the weekend.:)

(snipped)

Interesting that on Sunday night's Countryfile forecast, after describing the relatively dry weather expected this week, Louise Lear went on to say " and believe it or not, there's no significant rainfall expected for the rest of April". So maybe another month coming up with below average rainfall?

And today - after a sunny first couple of hours the cloud built to give a grey afternoon. After yesterday's early taste of summer, today's 12.2C felt really quite chilly.

Another sunny bright start to the day, nice and fresh at 8c and moderate wind.

Same here seaside. A lovely sunny start and currently 8C after getting down to a chilly 3.1C minimum overnight. But lots of high cloud shown streaming south on the satellite image looking as if it could spoil the clear skies later.

Not much point posting the same stuff all week, so this post will sum it up. Periods of sun, strong breeze, very cool and a touch of drizzle later on.

It's April why you not giving us sharp thundery showers and cloud porn?

A much better day yesterday, just some patchy fair weather cloud that bubbled up, nothing on the stratus-fest of the day before.
