Quite pleasant today when the sun came out, the winds were very light as well.

The February CET is now galloping towards another all 3 months above average finish. I will be interested to see the winter anomaly for this season, it will pretty much tell the story of how close we got this year at times.

Very dreary morning here after a lovely day yesterday, go away cloud! Mild though and no wind.

Disappointingly cloudy here today. Satellite shows some clearer slots, particularly for Norfolk and Kent, but they look like filling soon.

I was hoping for a warm, sunny day tomorrow (Mon) to give a real taste of Spring, but again cloud amounts (and stiff breeze) likely to take the shine off the day, holding temps back to a max of 15C according to the BBC/Met Office and Arpege forecasts. Mind you, not too shabby for Feb!!

Monday forecasts 58a98c0d66778_BBCMon20Feb.thumb.jpg.cbea4a61e9d532aafadb629bb7bf8613.jpg58a98c258df1d_ArpegeTempsMon20Feb.thumb.png.4f72ecdf3336b94a06eb28c90d680b48.png

This mild spell could cause problems for some over zealous birds if winter makes a comeback. The pidgeons around here are pairing up, and this morning I've watched a Robin gathering nesting material and start to build a nest in my greenhouse! It's very welcome! :)

Lovely and mild again, a Super early start to Spring, yesterdays high of 12C. Was very nice, bit more cloud about today, but winds very calm. Sunset today 5.25. Good Health to you all.

An absolutely enormous bee - presumably a queen - was buzzing around our early flowering plants this lunch time, had me wondering if nature is being a little fooled (or not, as the case may be) by our return to mild.

After a beautiful clear sunny day yesterday, it has reverted to grey 'inside a tupperware container' weather.

Feels more like early summer here today! We've had the luxury of the clear sunny window all morning, and temps have shot up to 16c. Looks like the cloud is starting to spill in from the west now, but days like this really make me long for some warmth!

First day it felt fine to go out without a coat or thick jumper. I'm torn. I'm very much a Summer person but I would like to see a blast of use able snow.

Having a bad hair day and it was too warm to wear THE HAT. so I was glad for the windiness . I also noticed I need to re-dye my hair but that's for another time.

Anyway, it was very mild this morning, could of done without the coat i was so warm. Thankful as my status suggests we have been with out windows most of the morning. House now looks dead posh.

Snow go away. You've had your chance. :nonono:

What a stonker! 17C with blazing sunshine. I wonder how long this year's record will stand?

Just managed to nudge 17c here before the cloud killed the fun off. Still a very pleasant day, could be a while before we top this again!

18.3C at Kew undoubtedly we would have broken the February maximum temperature record if no cloud was involved 20c would have been more than achievable.

EC has gusts almost touching 80mph for you, you may be in the path of the strongest winds. Risk of a sting jet too so potentially 90mph in places - the nasty winds come as Storm Doris pulls away into the North Sea.

Back to my hated kind of storm, can't be doing with a power cut and the fences around here already looked bad in the breeze we had yesterday. Go away.
