I think it will really depend on location and elevation to be honest - we are a bit more inland so tend to be quite lucky with North Sea Showers. It's 2c here with a 0c DP and it's still not sticking... yet!  Also depends how hard it comes down I think as to whether you'll get any accumulation - the Rain -> snow event the other week was a good example of a short burst of heavy snow giving a covering in spite of the ground being totally soaked and unfrozen.

long winded way of saying I don't know! Keep your eye on the radar and best of luck! :)

Thanks very much for the reply! :)

Latest with John Hammond on BBC News at 14:28:

"as temperatures fall back again over EA and the SE we are watching for snow that could give small accumulations overnight"

After a bit of a thaw here this afternoon, drove back from town and it was raining until we got to the top of the hill and it was snow still. Coming down slowly but steadily, biggish flakes. Settling on the existing snow but not on any bare surface.

Hoping the temperature drops that extra degree and then it'll lay properly again!

There seems to be a delayal of snow inhibiting parameters which was being modelled by now from what I viewed from yesterday. So it's nice to know some are seeing snow!

Right on the difference between rain and snow it seems in norbury as you can see the flakes drift down but a splodge on impact. When it hits your face it feels different too. Just got on train on the way home now via Clapham so let's se what's happening is both of those locations . All fun :) and keeps my infactuation going on my way home .

Light rain/drizzle in central.  We'll see what happen when the more intense echoes push through.

Sleet at Clapham but you have to look hard for the splodgy snow flakes . Look like a nutter lamppost watching at britains busiest station.
