I don't know what happened there but I had sleet which turned back to snow and then died out. I can see on the radar that ppn's growing around us again..

Them ice pellets are settling now, cars turning white, if it hadn't of rained 1st it would have been a decent covering by now.

Night guys , hope we all wake up to some snow and it has been nice seeing some fall today which I suppose is better than nothing . It seems the whole world is getting loads of snow apart from us . The next thing we will hear is a raging blizzard in Australia. Good luck all

Some heavier stuff seems to be moving in from the Wash now, fingers crossed for a dusting at least. That stuff moving out of the continent still looks on course albeit it is moving very slowly in association of that shallow area of low pressure over northern France,

Some models are showing another area of fairly heavy precipitation moving across the region early on Sunday, the GFS in particular showing a widespread covering (1-2cm), looks a bit optimistic to me though.

There were blizzards in Tasmania not long ago, better snow than we have had for a long time. Google it yh.

Just had a heavy shower of snizzle here in Sidcup. Grass has turned white and the main road near the Charcoal Burner pub is white over. Be careful driving in Sidcup.
