Rain not that heavy here, max 1.63mm per hour. Has anynone else been looking at the gfs storms that it keeps chopping and changing about ?

Whats the betting that they all shift much further North or South nearer the reliable timeframe :nea:

Hopefully much further south, means we miss the nasty winds and might even seem something wintry

Oooosh..

@stainesbloke. Still not a fan of the roast beef, I'm sure I will come round to it.

What is my favourite is Stilton sauce over my sprouts Phoar!

1 month till my driving test to

Just had some strips of salted & crisped belly pork, dipped in onion humorous. Yum! Don't much like offal though, except when in a haggis. Enjoy your dinners peeps!:good:

OMG surrey just to say sprouts is enough but that sauce too?

A bit cloudy and wet here, just a normal sunday really. Not that I really noticed, been making buildings for bubs superhero project.

We had 'chop and chips' which is pork chop and twice cooked chips. Normally with gravy.

Ahh, I didnt think of that, pulling cold air in. Well im a storm and snow fan so win / win for me either way !

But it is the gfs and from what ive seen over many many years of watching it, it really does over cook lows and then downgrades. South east region was very lucky with

this cold spell that has just ended, definitely worthy of 'notable' description.

It is lovely to hear the rain when you're tucked up warm inside with a roast.

A thoroughly wet evening in Chatteris, saying that it has been a long time since the last one.

"Firefox has blocked the outdated plugin flash from running on metoffice.gov.uk"

Has anyone informed the ministry of defence that "flash" is most certain to be entirely unsupported by all major browsers real soon ????

Im letting all my browsers block it now, the powers that be want it gone, google chrome wants it gone, android wants nothing to do with it. It will be gone

no matter what.

I heard these good ol' Norfolk sayings mentioned today, winter will arrive soon!

1. There's always cold and snow when the mart arrives (travelling fair at King's Lynn normally around valentines)

2. As the days get longer the cold gets stronger.

Here's hoping that Feb delivers for this region!

Looks like we have 10-14days of average/mild gloom ahead of us, let's hope the end of Feb brings us a blast of something wintry.

Oh well Jan was quite good for cold & frosts.

Looks like fortunes have reversed, the north is cold and frosty and we are warm and wet. Let's hope the next stage is snow somehow. Here a wet mist temp 5.6

Love these. I bought book on weather lore recently, haven't had time to read it yet but it looks interesting.

Possible cold mid to late Feb has been mentioned for some time - it does give us notice allotment holders a headache though. No idea what happens if the ground freezes after your parsnips are planted!

Enjoyed the rain last night and not being cold. Today is 8.c of meh though.
