BBC going for 6C for your location, and a maximum of 8C in the centre of London according to the latest news channel forecast. Not overly cold granted, but not particularly mild either :)

Was going by a tweet from Thomaz Swaf, even though a temp chart tweeted earlier gave the idea that the cold was going to hang around in the SE.

Some showers coming in just to the west of London . No idea what is falling . Sleet would be my guess . Seems to be developing too according to rain today anyway.

It's really gone dark here, you can see the light clouds in one direction but the other has extremely dark clouds, I imagine it's some of the stuff coming through on the radar.

Sleet here, just been out for a snowball fight. 2.4c and dropping now. Think we will get an icy mess tomorrow

Oh dear, same every year, i tell people theres an easterly on its way and its going to be really cold and maybe snow. Then it gets downgraded as usual...........lol

Temp 4.8c DP -2.1

Yep. Forget any Easterly for at least the next week (Well other than a very slack one) After Sunday's rain (perhaps leading edge snow for an hour or two) its UK high time again. Mainly dry and chilly with the odd frost here and there if cloud breaks.

The snow I had this morning must have been about 1cm. It was gone from every service after 30 mins. Worse than last winter's only snow event!

Well, whether or not it snows tonight, the wind really is starting to blow a right hoolie. I do hope that everyone along the coast stays safe.

i do agree a bit   if the  wind  was  north   , or northeast  ,or east  yes  but  its blowing  of the  land  that should keep the  water  back, and i lived down this coast all my  life!!
