Bit of a blink and you'll miss it job - front cleared through and any laying dandruff has soon melted away. Fun to see either way! My mate in Norwich said it's pelting down there and really accumulating.

Good to see some daytime snow from my work window - very pretty and quite distracting - shame it is the last hurrah of the cold snap and not the beginning...

Lovely stuff in Norwich. Really coming down. Shame it looks like it will stop soon.(Looking at the radar)

Deep surface cold over the SE

8 days out? does likelihood of models forecasting cold improve, when its cold already or is it same regardless?

Morning Everyone

Just a bit of advice.  Anyone here from Broad Oak, Heathfield in Sussex.  One of our managers has got to get back there and it is now snowing again in Tunbridge Wells.

Would be pleased to hear from anyone.

Many thanks.

Light snizzle in Greenwich Park and very gusty wind. Dog loves it though.

So everyone got to see a falling flake in the past 24 hours, which is very impressive for South-East and East Anglia to say the least.. Does anyone know if this was the last of the snow potential for the next week? Is the cold coming to an end?

Snowing here again, lot's and lot's of small flakes, thought it was rain at first.

It's come over quite dark and its snowing very lightly here in Brighton (I had to wait and stare just incase I was making it up, it's that light).  We are on the tail end of all this, so not expecting much however it's nice to see something again.

To add: The wind is really picking up too.  And I am quite possibly at the highest point.

Here in Mulbarton, we have around 3 cm of fresh snow, and it's still falling, albeit much lighter now than it was around 45 minutes ago.  I really didn't expect it, and it's annoying that, with a heavy cold, I don't really feel up to going out in it (unavailability of my suitable wheelchair at present would also be a problem).  Interestingly, NW radar is showing sleet from here south to London, and rain to the north of Norwich.

And it's stopped.

Time to look forward.

I don't think the snow is meant to last until the afternoon - I would expect it to be clear (but icy) by the evening...

I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised; even the cars are struggling for traction!
