Did they evacuate them last time? I'm not really liking how this surge sounds. I hope it won't be as bad as they think.

I am not sure, or if they did i don't recall that many.

Nice snow now, not massive flakes but heavy and wind blowing it about nicely and visibility dropping.

Lovely :)

Just light snow here at Heathrow, just enough to dampen the ground, seems the heavier snow further east. Oh well, resume the hunt for next snow potential!

Just started here. Only very lightly at the moment. Just going out in it as I've run out of milk :-/

I'll be going out in it on purpose.

And light snow in Tunbridge Wells at the moment.

From the snow last night the grass in the garden is completely white. Pavements everywhere are still extremely icy. We probably had something like 4-5 cm before a temporary thaw set in.

Heavy snow here in mid Suffolk.Turning into a proper winter wonderland. A couple of cm accumulated and the temp has been pulled down, now 0.7C, wind westerly at 18mph average, gusting 25mph.

Looks like it may clear Norfolk/Suffolk in the next hour. The temperature will inevitably rise and it will be slush late this afternoon :( Good to see though :)
