Well I am pleased to report that we have had moderate,  sometimes heavy snow here for about 1.5 hrs and it still looks heavy and a blanket of grey up there.  Over the last 20 minutes or so the wind has got very gusty as well turning it into a good blizzard effect out there at times

Yes very similar conditions here, I suspect soon after it stops for you, it will here.

Strange thing is the weather only had the front that's gone through here on their radar, it done exactly the route they said. That bigger one wasn't on there at all. How come they didn't know there was two lot's?

Amazingly heavy snow, huge flakes settling everywhere up on N Norfolk coast.

Fingers crossed for a few more hours of this!

When does the band reach Brighton ??

Not sure but I think another hour and it will probably be rain as the temp is rising pretty quickly

Got to say we have been lucky here as we had a nice little covering last night and this lot is just adding to it and given a fresh dusting where it was melting. Can see the dogs paw prints again next when I look out the upstairs window

Police have said around 5,000 properties in South Yarmouth, North Yarmouth, Caister, Southtown and Cobholm will be evacuated from 10am.

Did they evacuate them last time? I'm not really liking how this surge sounds. I hope it won't be as bad as they think.

Where the snow came down so heavy it cooled the roads so quickly and turned to ice underneath and snow settled. Cars where physically unable to get up the hill. Saw many spinning their wheels not moving.

I find it's often the newer cars and rear wheel drives that are difficult. From what I could see it was the old bangers and the like making the best progress!

There was a section of the M26 that had not been gritted and it was terrifying. Complete whiteout and couldn't see the road at all but lorries flying by.
