Ok the light snow has started, won't amount to much yet, waiting to see if the heavier stuff over ramsgate gets here.

It's all health and safety now though. Like I've said before, the only time I missed school through cold, rather than snow, was in school the day before. Was cause the pipes froze in 87.

You youngsters! I remember having to keep coat and gloves on in the classroom because there was no heat, mid-70s.

To be fair a lot of things happened in the 70's that you can't do now. :D

Had some snow earlier now turned to rain, the snow didn't settle anyway. Not even seen a dusting for four years now. :(

those that have snow make the most of it!!!

It was the toilet block, so there were no loos. Notice the trouble my self the day before, I don't think they had a choice.

Edit moderate snow now, falling on ice, so should get a dusting, and start slipping everywhere.

Had a good hour of fairly wet snow here - a very light dusting on the ground. The front seems to be narrowing and clearing through quite quickly now, I'd imagine we will be back to dry weather and sunshine by 11am. Nice to see a bit of the white stuff, even if it's a fairly piddly amount!

still snowing here but it is of the wet variety so there is nothing on the ground.

ok, lol, there was never heating in the toilet block, it was an old rickety wooden structure and the wind came in the gaps where the wood slats had slipped, there was often ice in the bowl in winter. We also had scratchy loo paper which didn't wipe anything, it was like tracing paper.

Someone is going to say that when they were young, they lived in a cardboard box in the middle lane of the m1.:D

I don't want the main band to get here, it will all be rain by then.
