According to weather Radar great big band of snow over me.

However there is nothing bone dry , snow further north

Ipswich and Cambridge are having light, locally heavy snowfall at the moment but it's moving fast. I'm looking at that snow stretching across our West/North-West that if it maintains as snow could really dump a lot for some down our way..

Not a bad looking radar for the London area all the SE really. :)

Assuming the radar isn't over playing it. I find that in these snow situations sometimes the radar will say there's heavy snow and its very light outside. Like virga

the very light pink is just I'm guessing the snow clouds confusing the radar, but the darker red is the heavier snow.. wait half hour and see what happens

Those showers in Suffolk are getting very beefy on the radar!

Hurrah! Actually snowing now! Hard to know what will come on the radar, as areas of supposed ppn have gone over in the last hour and delivered nothing. Moderate snowfall here.

With this incoming I'll be able to clarify to everyone if it is snow or not under that band to the North-West.. hopefully it's snow so those that haven't seen any do get something

the second and last snow event of the past 23 hours may be unfolding but in other news, east coast may have some issues with this evenings high tide if the wind keeps up this strong with the surge height forecasted.. Not looking good at all. I'll try get down to the beach and update you on that situation tonight...

BUT GUYS it's very lightly snowing again on the edge of this band! Getting gusty aswell might finally get the dusting I wanted?

Getting the odd flake in the gusts of wind, maybe a surprise dusting for us?

edit: it's gone eerily quiet and stopped any type of precipitation but it's getting very dark

Had a bit of wet snow in Dersingham earlier but mostly melted now.  What's it like down the front, did it overtop at high tide?

Morning all,

There is a spot of snizzle blowing around in the wind here in the Southend area, probably a 1 on the Murr Snow Scale

Some quite heavy snow for a time just north of Ipswich. I'm now in Ipswich and the snow has now stopped here, but a dusting on everything. Was settling on minor routes as I drive in. Just hoping the next band gets here soon before temperatures rise too much!

Just started chucking it down with heavy snow! Unexpected twist!

Stray waves overtopped and sprayed over the sea defences along the seawall this morning but is expected to be much worse tonight

A few light flakes here now. Didn't expect it to come this far in land.
