Yep 0.4 just here, and small snow from the start, no big flakes, but heavy.

Still blowing a gale up here, 0.5c and still snowing quite hard.

The lights flickering is due to electric brakers tripping out from a short , due to the wind and snow, tree branches etc, they switch over to another feed within spit seconds, but you notice it on your lights.

It hasnt happened here in haywards heath at my house, but that could be because i have LED bulbs in every room rather than the typicle engery saver bulb most have

Been windy with sideways snow! Now settling down and much lighter but the stuff on the ground is fairly slushy but still a nice decent cover! Meto changed to heavy snow through to 9pm but can't see that happening now? Also had flickering lights!!xx

The temperature is now 2.1 DP of 1 with another 20mm of precipitation forecast.Wind has picked up and swung back to a NNW.

Hounds were literally towed out for a tinkle. Typical salukis

Nothing but cold rain!

Just spoke to someone from the environment agency at Wells-next-the-sea and they are expecting flooding on par with December 2013.

I love snow but hate northerly winds that deliver nothing but coastal devastation to this area.

wet snow now, so all the snow that was around is wet and mushy, but hey it was good whilst it lasted and this is only the begging of the ride

Lights have been flickering here too. Stopped snowing now and left with sludge. But it was lovely to see snow falling and settling

Snow still falling lightly here in Southend, but it is now starting to melt.... and the temps have started to creep up, currently 0.5

It was nice while it lasted, hopefully we will see some more this winter, and I do need to fly out of Gatwick tomorrow afternoon.

Back from an hours fun in the snow. Got around 2cm on the ground I reckon but obviously very slushy and melting quick, so made the most of it with the boy!

Still snowing light to mod with the temp at 0.8c and dp -0.2c

Very light snow now coming to the end temp 0.6c so hopimg to freeze up what we have 1.5cm

Hoping the over night early mornimg snow gives us a top up

We are now starting to get flood warnings from the environment agency, look out if you are near the sea front in the Southend area.  I am too far away to be affected, but stay safe everyone.
