I'm amazed how quickly it started to settle!

I remember your wife getting stuck in 2009 Plum! Good to see us southies getting some snow for a change. I was arguing with the hubby earlier saying if the lapse rates are good the snow will settle regardless of how wet the ground is!

I'm surprised at this - I thought the cold air would turn the back edge into snow? How come places on the south coast are getting pasted, yet 150 miles further north here it's just heavy rain??!

Seems to be relating to the intensity of the ppn; the areas with darker green colours on the radar seem to be the places that have the heavy snow.

It was November 30th 2010 I think - that's etched on my memory! That was an interesting night!

Still pouring with rain here in Bexhill On Sea !

Ditto Hastings ! Quick question as I only moved here in August, when was the last time it snowed in Hastings or Bexhill and has it ever settled ?

Haven't posted for a long time so hello everyone! Currently snowing nicely here in Chafford Thurrock and has settled too. Couldn't say how much as I'm stuck on the sofa with flu, but it's certainly cheered me up and something else to look at out of the window lol
