Morning DB. The lack of posts says it all really... 2.3c here, held steady all night by the looks of things. Think even our flurry risk has disappeared has it not?

Morning all, a grey, overcast, cold morning here. Temp is -1.3 with a 'feels like' temp of -4.1 and I'd say it definitely does feel that cold, it's blinkin freezing outside. Not looking forward to being outside in it all day :cold: If this is as good as it gets with an easterly, then roll on spring I say.

With nothing on radar thats best we can hope for it is a shame because ppn on east coast looks quite impressive this morning but no where near reaching us sadly :nonono:

A proper beastily would at least freeze the ground solid but my water butt out back looks very fluid still. cant even get an ice day at near 300m :nonono:

Temperature has crept up and is now 0.0c exactly

Another cloudy day. Got up to 2.9°C but now it's dropped back to 2.4°C where it was sat for hours last night.

Hoping as this crosses my area later on it gives a dusting - should get a little colder as it reaches the west country

Ice crystals/sleet falling for most of the morning here. At times there was brief snow showers with varying sizes of snowflakes.  PPN to the NE looks decent, however it arrives when I'm out the county, so good luck to all today/tonight!

PS: While I was writing this, it started to snow a bit more heavily (small flakes)

Where's frosty hollows when we need her, predictive radar shows her area being very close to the "pink" precip mapping.

Looks like it is starting to weaken & dissipate though.

Yup, considering it's original strength as it came ashore, it is definitely weakening, and could fizzle long before it reaches western areas..

Had a small amount of 'snizzle' around 12.30pm. Only lasted half an hour. Now it's sunny and the temp has shot up to 4c! Supposed to get some snow tomorrow, but of course by then it will be too warm for snow. Grrr!
