Brilliant sunny day here for what I could see from the office :nonono: Now 2.9c still got a chance of seeing snow falling here on Thursday morning.

Had a sudden rise in temperature not long ago. Went from 0.9°C  to 2.4°C which is the highest today. Still very foggy and dropped to 2.2°C.

I think you might have just caught the edge of the cloud that moved down from the North West. Probably drop again now

How do you think the met/BBC are picking up on this signal? Very light flurries as per the other night?

Well, I've decided to move my hosting to a London based datacentre. I'm paying too much for my current hosting, and looking at what I get for that money, I can get better for less money.
I've done a backup of my whole home directory on my hosting, and downloaded it. I have to upload my whole site to the new hosting, point the new nameservers to my domain name, and generally do a lot of faffing. It may take some time!

The site will be down for a few hours tomorrow as well- electricians will be in, so no power for a period of time.

On the plus side, the new hosting offer free SSL certificates for my domain name, so I can use https:// which is more secure. My current hosting charge £40 a year for one certificate. :s

Looks like a very cold south south East flow on Thursday so I reckon a bit of moisture is being picked up in the channel. If it was summer it would be light drizzle low cloud. I suspect if it does it will just a few grains. Still nice to see. The signal though is weak so I live in hope not in expectation.

A clear and fairly sunny day here, spared the gloomy fog in this area. Temp high of 7.4, dropped back down now to -0.3.

Must be right on the edge of that cloud still as the temperature keeps going up and down. Currently on the way down again after going back up to 2.2°C.

A drop to -0.4°C after 4 hours at -0.3°C lol

Lucky its not freezing at ground level as the fog has been so bad, everything is dripping wet, as if there has been rain.

New hosting is fast! :D

After another freezing and foggy night there is black ice everywhere in Wimborne again this morning. Driveway and patio are like skating rinks.

Morning all, another clear and frosty morning here, currently -0.4 with an overnight low of -0.8, everything white and crispy again.

I know we haven't had any snow this year but it's been a great winter for frosty weather, I also know there's a fair chance I'm going a bit senile, but I really can't remember the last time we had so many frosts - seems like years. Makes such a lovely change from the usual mild, wet muck of a typical winter here. If we can't have snow, long may it continue :-)
